Earning a master of arts degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University, dedicating her time, energy and clinical skills to her community before obtaining licensure as a marriage and family therapist and spending the past 5 years serving troubled marriages and intimate relationships, Kawanna Shawntaye Gritney embodies the essence of being a true clinical therapist.
Often referred to by her clients as, “a motivator”, Kawanna takes pride in the work she does with her clients and comes equipped with excellent clinical tools to support her clients through their emotional struggles and life journeys. Currently focused on treating adults struggling with work stress, anxiety, depression and marital/relationship issues, Kawanna has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, individuals dealing with trauma, individuals struggling with co-occurring diagnoses and psychotic disorders to name a few.
