Hello! Thank you for visiting this page. Your presence here attests to your willingness to start your journey for healing. Healing by yourself can be a hard and lonely experience. I applaud your courage to take a step towards sharing this difficult journey with me. I would be honored if you accept my company in this journey where I will provide a warm, accepting, and secure space to get prepared.
I pride myself for being a trauma-focused therapist because of my personal and professional experiences with life adversities. The impact of those adversities and traumas shaped my understanding of the suffering that comes with it and helped me embrace understanding it with compassion and open mindedness.
I have worked with individuals with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, domestic violence, sexual abuse, Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and personality disorders. My approach to individuals with complex trauma, recent event trauma, and PTSD has been influenced by evidence-based approaches such as EMDR that is grounded on the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, TF-CBT that is grounded in a cognitive and behavioral approach, and DBT which is accepted as a mindfulness and cognitive approach. I work with couples from the lenses of the Gottman Method that is a research-based therapy to improve communication, acceptance, and connection between couples and Imago Relational Therapy that heals relational conflict through connection. I approach families through the lenses of Structural Family System and Bowenian Theory. As an immigrant, I value diversity and cultural perspectives that allow individuals to feel comfortable with expressing their differences and being accepted, respected, and valued regardless of their views about social, political, and global issues. My approach to this healing journey is based on your needs and your willingness to take the next step to see me. I am looking forward to hearing your story from your perspective.
